Chinese Tofu Factory Visit

Tofu, also known as bean curd, is a food made by coagulating soy milk and then pressing the resulting curdsinto soft white blocks.

Tofu originated in Han dynasty China some 2,000 years ago. Chinese legend ascribes its invention to princeLiu An (179–122 BC).

Shanghai Tramy is a bean product expert and the industrial leader in China.

 

On our guided tour, we will visit the Tofu Culture Center inside the factory, where we will learn the tofu culture, see the production process, and sample the tofu food produced there.

 

Workers from the factory will share amazing stories about this factory's past and future - how it has grown from an 8-person workshop into the largest tofu factory in China.

Program is 4hrs. Guide will meet you at your hotel. Kindly note, food cost is not included in this price (these costs are usually minimal), it makes the tour more flexible and you can get the chance to try different kind of genuine Chinese food. Our guides are always happy to recommend. Note that the guide will join you for meals and we ask that you pay for the guide.
