We will be welcomed at the local temple(RMB10) where we will have the special opportunity to engage in informal conversation with a monk. The monk will enlighten us on life as a Monk, local culture and tradition, ceremonies, rituals, Buddhism, and other topics.
Later on, we will visit one of the largest former Confucius Temple(RMB10) in the city. Now it is known as the Chongming Museum, home to many historical and unique exhibits. After touring the museum, we will explore the local village and meet some local farmers.
We will also cross through one of the oldest parks in the island and reach the fantastic Changjiang River with a beautiful view

Program is 8hrs. Guide will meet you at your hotel. Kindly note, food cost is not included in this price (these costs are usually minimal), it makes the tour more flexible and you can get the chance to try different kind of genuine Chinese food. Our guides are always happy to recommend. Note that the guide will join you for meals and we ask that you pay for the guide.
